CADM rings in the holidays once more with its Acronym Holiday Bash





On December 9th CADM, along with the American Marketing Association, Business Marketing Association, Chicago Ad Federation, the Promotion Marketing Association, and the Publicity Club of Chicago, held its seventh annual Acronym Holiday Bash which took place again this year at the Rockit Bar and Grill in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. This year’s holiday gathering, which included over 215 members from Chicago’s marketing communities, raised over $3,000 for the Chicago Tribune Holiday Charities program. In addition to raising funds a for charitable cause, guests from the above associations and CADM celebrated the holiday season at Rockit with fantastic music, spirits, networking games, and other holiday cheer. And CADM’s Fall 2008 Basic Course Winners are…..


CADM is pleased to announce that the winners of this year’s Fall 2008 Basic Course class marketing plan are Nicole Sanders of the Alzheimer’s Association, Jamie Watanabe of Colman Brohan Davis, Chelsey Iaquinta of Walter Kluwer’s CCH, Laura Saxon of DDB Incorporated, Murray Schake of Q Interactive, Andrew Hack of Uline Incorporated, and Michael Spencer of Uline Incorporated. The winners’ Plan was evaluated by a panel of four judges and scored the highest of all the class’ projects on an eight-point scale regarding target market, offer, media selection, creativity, testing, budget and economics, feasibility, completeness and overall organization in final presentation to the panel. The seven winners have received free year-long memberships to CADM and are part of a Fall 2008 class which totaled 18 students and was chaired by Board Director Frank Roman (above left). The Fall 2008 Basic Course marks the 50th Anniversary at CADM.
